Our Story...
Made to Inspire was born from a simple yet personally inspiring beginning. Having worked in the jewellery and engraving business for over 20 years Filomena thrived on designing and creating jewellery amalgamating her skills from both areas. Her creative mind led her to create a special tool (which she later patented) allowing her to engrave on the exterior of rings and bangles. A job previously made impossible without this specialised tool. Armed with this opportunity she slowly began designing and testing.
However, it wasn’t until during a personally difficult time in her life that she decided to create a special ring for herself which read “I CAN DO IT”. This ring signified her desire to be positive, to keep moving forward. It was a visual, positive affirmation she would see each day, reminding her that she could do whatever she set her mind to no matter what the circumstances in her life.
Many customers and friends noticed the ring and were taken by the message and the idea behind the ring. Slowly orders starting coming in with customers requesting their own messages of inspiraton for their piece. Orders came in all forms, languages and styles.
From this encouraging response the inspiration for ‘Made to Inspire’ took off. Now a mother and daughter team Filomena and Natalia work side by side creating works to inspire and feed the souls of their customers!
The work is very rewarding and creative and holds endless possibilities which is a driving force for the mother and daughter team.
